Are you tired of following suit by registering at all the common places: Bed Bath and Beyond, Macy’s, Crate and Barrel, Target, etc? Do you want to register at all these places or maybe a couple of items at a speciality store? There’s a registry website that allows you to do that! Wishpot allows brides to add items from any website and guests will be able to view and purchase from your registry. The website offers the following features:
- To keep your wishes within budget, price comparisons and sale alerts can be set on any items selected in your registry
- In addition to (or instead of) creating a traditional wedding registry, users can also request contributions to Honeymoon/vacation packages, cash gifts, even donations to charity in lieu of gifts.
- Gift ideas & tips from wedding experts and even other registered couples are updated daily!
When you click on “wedding experts” you’ll find Big Fat Cake on there, too!
There’s also a Wishpot toolbar you can download so that while you are on any online store, you can add items to your registry with the simple click of a button. The site is not specific for weddings so anyone can use it for other events, such as baby showers, or just to keep a running list of what you want.
