Finally, after 6 years of waiting to be engaged, and three months of engagement, we’re starting our wedding planning. My overall thought is NONTRADITIONAL! We’ve gone to tons of weddings especially in the last year and this phrase resonates in my head…”Not another wedding!!” I don’t want that to be the phrase that people say when they get our invitation. So here’s my plan….an outdoor wedding this summer or fall (Yep, I know that’s in just a few months) at a park, waterfront or plantation type setting. Tony and I both love the water, so the waterfront setting would be ideal but…our goal is to shoot for a wedding under $30K. Most sites along the water cost about $30K just to hang out there for a few hours. Not looking promising but I’m not giving up. So to sum it up-outdoor wedding in less than 6 months, different from the norm for under $30K. I’m on it!!
