Happy New Year! How was Day 2 of your New Year’s resolution? Decided to start on Day 3? :P

Well, a lot of people talk about resolutions involving finances. When two people get married, finances get a little hairier because now two people are making decisions, not just you. Keith Beverly is going to guest-blog this week about how to manage finances as a couple. It’s often an overlooked discussion yet it’s one of the most important topics to talk about. Finances is one of the top reasons why people divorce so it should be taken seriously. His posts should give you ideas on how to approach finances as a couple.

Here’s a little bit about Keith:

Keith has been married for 3 years and is a proud father of one. He is pursuing his MBA degree at Chapel Hill and will graduate in 2011 with a vision to help people reach their financial goals. A native of Washington, D.C., Keith is a CFA charterholder and co-founder of IT’S TIME, an organization dedicated to help youth excel academically, socially and professionally.
