Apparently, weddings are such big business, that now even funeral homes are jumping on the bandwagon and renting out their spaces on weekends. (Check out this article.) Many of them have lovely grounds and very church-like settings. If it fits your budget and doesn’t creep you out, I would say go for it. And, you can do a little end-of-life, prepare-for-the-worst planning while you’re there. Register for your caskets, burial plots, and whatnot if you can’t think of anything else you’ll need. It’s a little morbid, but it is responsible. It isn’t really my cup of tea, but just like life, marriage, children, etc., death is a very big event, so it makes sense to share a venue with it.

It’s definitely cheaper and more availability but I agree, it’s not my cup of tea. Funny how the related articles on the side for this wedding article includes: Man plunges to death from Empire State Building.
Yeah I heard this on the radio, I thought that was kinda errie, they were saying since the reason why people are having weddings at funeral homes is because of bad economy. I still think its odd bad economy or less expensive wedding haha i smell death at the wedding haha sorry that was wrong
