It’s my Wedding, and I’ll Cry if I want to

Like a baby. Oh my goodness! My wedding was this past Saturday, and it was a wonderful day! The weather cooperated, everything and everyone was on time, the food tasted good, the people looked great. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day or a more perfect man to marry. So, that is probably why I broke down several times during the ceremony and almost couldn’t make it through my vows. I’m not a Drama Queen, but I am a crier. I was prepared to cry a little, but man, it was a waterworks. Lucky Kris (when we were engaged, he was “poor Kris” because of all the stress I put on him, but now that we are married, he will be “lucky Kris”) said his vows, and that got my tear ducts going. By the time it was my turn, it was over. I was a mess, then everyone was crying. If lucky Kris and I ever renew our vows, I will make sure I go first. That would be the only way I might stand a small chance of keeping it together.  If you’re a crier, I suggest you go first too.  But, as my dear friend said after the wedding, “Only the really emotional ceremonies are the ones worth remembering,” so maybe it was best that I just let it all out. It made for good viewing, apparently.  We’ll have to wait for the video.

Crying Bride

Like I would really post a picture of myself here. This bride isn't crying nearly as much as I did. source: superstock.com

Thanks, Guys! It was a great time. I’ll be sure to share photos. Sharon, I hear your wedding was marvelous. Congratulations to you as well. I’m not sure what feels better, being married, or being done with wedding planning. Haha :)
