A recent bachelorette party I attended started off beautifully with a fun and tame event at Brush ‘N Blush in Georgetown (don’t worry, there was plenty of optional debauchery later). Anywho, we had a splendid night at this unique venue that offers Bob-Ross-Style painting classes that you may attend while drinking your favorite bottle of bubbly. The bridesmaids packed a great picnic dinner and tons of booze which we enjoyed as we learned how to paint a lovely piece for our homes. My talent is lacking and the wine was flowing, so my painting will probably be relegated to the downstairs bathroom, but there were a great many attendees whose paintings ended up so beautifully that they will be able to hang them above the fireplace when they get home.
I highly recommend this little spot for an inventive bridal shower or a low-key bachelorette party. If showers or bachelorette parties aren’t in the future, take a first date here and maybe down the road they will be
