About Joleen

Where I’m From: I’m from Northern Connecticut where my family still lives. I love to go up there and visit often!!!! I moved to Northern Virginia when I was 21 in between semesters and ended up meeting my fiancé (just friends) until a year later when we started dating.

Marital Status: Engaged! Tying the knot on September 19th!

Day Career: During the day I pose as business analyst for a consulting firm in Washington D.C. If this IT career goes awry I’m debating moving to Hawaii and teaching surf lessons for the rest of my life. (My fiancé is on board with this plan)

More About Me: I have a lot of hobbies but I seem to have forgotten all of them now that my wedding planning kicked into full gear. We were engaged in January of ‘08 and I can’t wait to marry my best friend. My fiancé is a Northern Virginia native, frat boy from Virginia Tech and as a result, I’m a professional wedding attendee!!!!!!! I love being healthy (by default this includes working out but I don’t like it), reading, playing any kind of sport, and cooking and the occasional shopping trip.
