About Beth

Where I'm From: I grew up in Harrisburg, PA and moved to Fairfax 10 years ago. Tony was born in Hawaii and moved all around before settling in Centreville when he was in middle school.

Marital Status: Engaged!

Day Career: I'm a kindergarten teacher and Tony works for Lockheed Martin

More About Me: Tony and I got engaged on Jan 2nd on Coronado Island in San Diego, California. It was a perfectly thought out proposal on an empty beach at the end of a fabulous week long vacation! We both love the water (he's a rower and I love the beach)! We met playing sports for William and Mary's Alumni team and continue playing flag football and basketball together.

Chesapeake Bay Beach Club, Harbourtowne, The Oaks!

We decided to take a day trip to see all three sites.  We are really starting to like the idea of having a wedding by the water (my picnic idea may be out the window, some parts of it at least).  Here’s … Continue reading »

Entrance to Algonkian Park reception site.

Herrington on the Bay, Bull Run Park and Algonkian Park

We visited Algonkian Park the other day to see what the venue had to offer. We were a bit disappointed because you can have an outdoor ceremony but not an outdoor reception.  The reception hall is very nice though with it’s floor … Continue reading »
